Royce is an experienced tutor and education consultant with a strong academic background in Economics and Mathematics. He graduated from Hwa Chong Institution in 2022 with an impressive 88.75/90 rank points, including a Distinction in H3 Economics. He will be matriculating at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in September 2025 to pursue a BSc in Economics.
Since August 2023, Royce has been tutoring O-Level and A-Level students, conducting both online and in-person lessons. He specializes in personalized lesson plans and exam-focused strategies, ensuring that students grasp key concepts effectively. In addition to subject tutoring, he also provides university admissions consulting, offering guidance on UK university applications and personal statement writing.
Royce’s expertise in Economics is reflected in his achievements in national competitions. He was the 2nd Place Winner of the MAS-ESS Essay Competition (2023) and placed 3rd in the National Economic & Financial Management Challenge (2022). His dedication to education extends to mentoring students from disadvantaged backgrounds through Project Aerolite, earning him the Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities Volunteer Leader Award in 2021.
